They work hard behind the scenes for you. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">If you believe there is a problem with current proceedings on the day, please bring it to the attention of Event Director Steve Mositun or Technical Coordinator Taufiq or Alvin<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">If the competitor has any physical issues to would not allow them to complete an event to the exact rules as outlined below, it must be brought to the attention of the judges before hand, not after. EG: if you have broken a leg in the past and have trouble locking your knees out in the deadlift or elbow for you overhead events. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">NO vulgarities during each events &#8211; Vulgarities will result in an instant disqualification from the events or proceedings <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">NO electronic devices are allowed in the competition area <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Always show the best form of sportsmanship and camaraderie which is inherent and expected in all strongman competitions.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h1 class=\"western\"><strong>CIRCUS DUMBBELL<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">58kg &#8211; Feather Dumbell<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">78kg &#8211; Circus Dumbell <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Athletes need to be responsible for knowing when they are starting their lifts. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Athletes are allowed to choose between Feather or Circus Dumbell <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">If an athlete A completes 10 reps on the feather dumbell and athlete B completes 1 rep on the circus dumbell, Athlete B wins the event<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">All protective sleeves, wraps, soft belt, lifting belt or gloves are allowed. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Two belts, one above the other on the torso (equivalent to a stepped setup), is not allowed. A loop in the belt is not allowed. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">You will ONLY be given 30 seconds to get ready for this event, includes strapping up, wearing of your gear and being ready for the start whistle. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Command will be given &#8220;Take Your Mark&#8221;, &#8220;Ready&#8221; and followed by a loud whistle blow, athletes are to begin upon hearing the whistle. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Once in an overhead lockout position, athletes need to wait for the command &#8220;Down&#8221; before lowering the implement. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Athlete to continue attempt the lift until time is called<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">No dumping of equipment, do try your best to drop it on the tyres or rubber mats provided <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Duration for event is 60 seconds. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">In the event if athlete does NOT complete a single overhead repetition &#8211; ZERO points will be awarded. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Referee&#8217;s decision is FINAL. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Chalk only<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1><strong>LAST MAN STANDING DEADLIFT &#8211;\u00a0260kg, 300kg, 330kg, 365kg, 380kg<\/strong><\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Athletes need to be responsible for knowing when they are starting their lifts. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">All protective sleeves, wraps, soft belt, lifting belt or gloves are allowed. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Deadlifts suits allowed. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Lifting straps or Figure 8 straps allowed <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">You will ONLY be given 30 seconds to get ready for this event, includes strapping up, wearing of your gear and being ready for the start whistle. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Command will be given &#8220;Take Your Grip&#8221;, &#8220;Ready&#8221; and followed by a loud whistle blow, athletes are to begin upon hearing the whistle. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Once in the lockout position, athlete must have knees, hips and shoulders locked out. Athletes need to wait for the command &#8220;Down&#8221; before lowering the bar. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Athlete to continue doing the repetitions until time is up or until they choose to stop. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">No dumping of bar, Dumping of bar = No Lift <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Duration for each event is 60 seconds <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">In the event if athlete does NOT complete a single repetition &#8211; ZERO points will be awarded. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Referee&#8217;s decision is FINAL. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Chalk only<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h1><strong>LOADING RACE &#8211; 100kg X 4 ITEMS<\/strong><\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Athletes are to stand behind the stated line before the start of the events. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Command will be given &#8220;Take Your Mark&#8221;, &#8220;Ready&#8221; and followed by a loud whistle blow, athletes are to begin upon hearing the whistle. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Athletes are to lift and carry the loads over a distance of 10 metres and load onto a platform.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">There are no restrictions on how you move the implements (bear hug, overhead or on the shoulder). <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Upon reaching point B load must be loaded over a bar <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Athletes have 60 seconds to complete all 4 loads. (2 tyres and 2 stones)<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">When athletes have completed all 4 loads, judge will call for time and athletes hands must not be touching the loads or the platform. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">In the event that athlete does not manage to complete event during the stipulated time of 60 seconds, the &#8220;split&#8221; timing of last completed load will be taken. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">In the event if athlete does NOT complete a single load onto the platform &#8211; ZERO points will be awarded. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Distance of load carried from start line will NOT be considered. You need to load the keg\/sandbag on the barrel to score points. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">All protective sleeves, wraps, soft belt, lifting belt or gloves are allowed. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Chalk only. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Referee&#8217;s decision is FINAL<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h1><strong>ATLAS STONE &#8211; 135kg\/150kg\/165kg<\/strong><\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Athletes need to be responsible for knowing when they are starting their lifts<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">You will ONLY be given 30 seconds to get ready for this event, includes strapping up, wearing of your gear and being ready for the start whistle<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">All protective leather sleeves, neoprene sleeve, wraps, soft belt, lifting belt or gloves are allowed <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Command will be given &#8220;Take Your Mark&#8221;, &#8220;Ready&#8221; and followed by a loud whistle blow, athletes are to begin upon hearing the whistle<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Atlas stones need to be lifted over the bar for repetition to count.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">There will be three stones only (135kg, 150kg and 165kg)<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Once the stone comes to contact with the rubber mat, split timing will be taken. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">In the event if athlete does NOT complete a single repetition &#8211; ZERO points will be awarded. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Referee&#8217;s decision is FINAL. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Tacky is allowed<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h1><strong>BUS PULL &#8211; 10-15TONNES*<\/strong><\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Athletes need to be responsible for knowing when they are starting their lifts<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">You will ONLY be given 30 seconds to get ready for this event, includes strapping up, wearing of your gear and being ready for the start whistle<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">All protective leather sleeves, neoprene sleeve, wraps, soft belt, lifting belt or gloves are allowed <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Command will be given &#8220;Take Your Mark&#8221;, &#8220;Ready&#8221; and followed by a loud whistle blow, athletes are to begin upon hearing the whistle<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Athletes will be strapped into an Ironmind Harness<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Once the front of the bus crosses the finished line, time will be taken <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">In the event if athlete does NOT complete the distance, the completed distance will be taken &#8211; ZERO points will be awarded if the bus does not move<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Referee&#8217;s decision is FINAL.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1><strong>TYRE FLIP &#8211; 500kg<\/strong><\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Athletes need to be responsible for knowing when they are starting their lifts<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">You will ONLY be given 30 seconds to get ready for this event, includes strapping up, wearing of your gear and being ready for the start whistle<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">All protective leather sleeves, neoprene sleeve, wraps, soft belt, lifting belt or gloves are allowed <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Command will be given &#8220;Take Your Mark&#8221;, &#8220;Ready&#8221; and followed by a loud whistle blow, athletes are to begin upon hearing the whistle<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Athletes are required to complete a total of 5 flips of the tyre<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Time will be taken when the 5th flip comes to contact on the ground<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">In the event if athlete does NOT complete the 5 flips, the completed number of flips will be taken &#8211;
