Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah’s Strongestman (OKS-Orang Kuat Sabah) Challenge 2011 explodes into action at Star City in Asia City here, tomorrow (Saturday).
The organiser of the event, Casero Events Sdn Bhd, declared that everything down to the smallest detail is in place to ensure a successful staging of the event.
“We are ready to stage the Challenge and look forward to bringing the excitement to everyone this weekend.
“There will be plenty more attractions than last year’s inaugural event and the OKS Challenge this year will also be more exciting and challenging,” said Casero Events Managing Director-cum-organising committee chairman, Steve Mositun.
An added interest in this year’s competition will be the presence of foreign challengers, namely from Singapore. It will be interesting to see how the local competitors size up to the Singapore titans.

“Everything is good to goÉall our equipment is in place.
We also have enough marshals to assists in running the show,” said Event Promoter-cum-Technical Head Roger Frederick.

“We have received 15 confirmed entries, mostly from Sabah.
There will also be five participants from Singapore, who are expected to arrive today.
“Registration also reopens today (until 9am on Satruday) so we will also be expecting a few more to entries,” said Roger, adding that the challenge is scheduled to kick-off at 10am.
